Good news for people who love to share their pride in Montana: The “Get Lost” logo is now available for Montana businesses to use through a license agreement with the Department of Commerce.
“Get Lost (in Montana)” is the tagline of a popular tourism marketing campaign Commerce used in 2012 to inspire Montana residents to explore their state. Since then, it has continued to live on in the form of a bumper sticker proudly displayed on thousands of vehicles and through other retail merchandise.
Although Commerce has since ended its retail merchandise program, we know the “Get Lost” logo continues to inspire Montanans to experience Montana’s spectacular unspoiled nature, vibrant and charming small towns, and relaxing hospitality.
That’s why we’re now offering the logo to any for any Montana business or organization to use, free of charge, for marketing or producing their own merchandise.
To start the licensing process, e-mail Jan Stoddard at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a license agreement. Once signed and approved, Commerce will provide the new licensee with the digital artwork. In order to ensure the logo continues to reflect positively on Montana, some restrictions apply.
